Does it work offline?
Local chat runs on your device after downloading a model. You need an internet connection for initial downloads and outside links. Voice input also needs supported on-device recognition.
Which model should I choose?
Compare the estimated RAM and recommended device memory in the model list. A smaller model such as Qwen3 0.6B is a starting point when storage or memory is limited.
Does Name AI see my conversations?
The app processes chats locally and has no creator-operated chat server. Model delivery and website hosting still involve network connections. Read the full privacy policy.
Are the iPhone and iPad apps available yet?
iPhone & iPad: awaiting App Store review. Not available yet.
The submitted build requires iOS or iPadOS 18 or later. Submission is not approval. We'll update the download link when a public listing is available.
Why does the Mac download show a security warning?
This early release is ad-hoc signed, not signed with an Apple Developer ID or notarized by Apple. macOS may block it or show a warning. Read the download notes before installing.
Can I change or clear what it remembers?
Yes. You approve memories and can clear them, delete conversations, remove models, or reset local data through the app's Settings.
