Preview voices in Settings before choosing one. Prefer to type? Tap the speaker beneath a reply to hear it in your selected voice, then pause or jump backward and forward.
Voice models are optional downloads. Available voices may change before release.

Add a photo and a question. The optional photo model describes what it sees, then your chat model uses that description to answer.
This is a real conversation from the app: a waterfall photo becomes the starting point for a description of the scene.
Photo understanding can miss small details or misidentify objects. It’s a starting point for a conversation, not a guarantee of accuracy.

Use the plus button to choose a photo, take one, or attach a PDF or text file. Ask for a summary, help understanding a passage, or a new way to explain an idea.
The app reads supported document text locally. Photo descriptions use a separate optional model, so you don’t need to download it just to chat.
Up to 3 attachments, 20 MB each. Document text limits apply; scanned or image-only PDFs may not provide readable text.

Can I download the app yet?
(name)ai is coming soon for iPhone and iPad. These are current app screenshots; the final model and voice selection may change before release.
Is it fully offline?
Chat runs entirely on your device once its model is downloaded. Photo understanding and speech synthesis also run locally with their optional downloads. Voice input requires supported on-device speech recognition; the app doesn’t fall back to a cloud recognizer. You’ll need internet for the initial model downloads and any later downloads.
How fast are the replies?
Responses appear as the model generates them. A smaller model is the starting point for lighter workloads; larger models need more memory and computation. Timing depends on your device, model, prompt, conversation length and whether the model is already loaded. We don’t claim a universal response time or a speed advantage over other apps.
Which iPhones and iPads can use it?
The current app targets iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 or later. Available memory and storage determine which models you can run comfortably. Check the model’s device RAM recommendation before downloading; not every device can run every model.
Where are my chats and memories stored?
Chats and imported attachments are stored locally in the app. You choose which memories to approve, and you can delete chats or clear saved data in Settings. Model downloads contact their hosting providers, without including your conversations. Read about privacy.
